About Harajuku

Welcome to the capital of the “Kawaii” culture of Japan. Harajuku is the source and center of Japanese sub-culture fashion trends and is embodied by the two main shopping streets in the area: Takeshita and Omotesando street. If shopping isn’t for you, there are many unusual yet remarkable cafes there like Owl Cafe, Snake Cafe, Kawaii Monster Cafe and others that will provide you with the full Harajuku experience. If you’re looking for something a litte more on the traditional side, the Meiji Jingu Shrine and Yoyogi Park are just a few minutes away for you to take a break from the city. No matter who you are or where you’re from, there’s something in Harajuku for you.
