Rewilding journey of Kagoshima
The real healing begins here
The real healing begins here
Introduction
Kagoshima is a beautiful, sub-tropical region located at the southernmost tip of Japan's mainland.
We invite you on a curated journey through Kagoshima's most popular destinations, featuring an exclusive experience found nowhere else in the world.
At the base of the majestic Kirishima Mountain Range-home to Japan's very first designated National Park-lies a peaceful sanctuary where retired horses spend the rest of their days in comfort.
The sight of roughly 150 horses roaming freely across this sun-drenched landscape, living happily and peacefully as they would in the wild, is a truly rare and moving spectacle.
Interacting with them offers a deeply moving experience that will leave you feeling profoundly warmed and refreshed.
