Kawasaki Ukiyo-e Gallery, located a 2-minute walk from JR Kawasaki Station, has a collection of approximately 4,000 Ukiyo-e pieces, Japan's world-famous cultural heritage.
Themes and exhibits would change every month, so that you can discover new ukiyo-e charms no matter when you visit.
Please enjoy the "world of Setsugetsu, Rain, and Wind'' depicted in ukiyo-e prints. The artwork has been loved by not only Japanese, but also people around the world since Edo period.

Kawasaki Daishi Nakamise Dori is a shopping street that extends approximately 150 meters from Daisanmon Gate of Kawasaki Daishi Temple.
There are many shops selling Kawasaki specialties such as rice cakes, Daruma dolls and candy. Atmosphere is always lively, also.
When visiting Kawasaki Daishi, be sure to stop by Nakamise Street and enjoy the constant bustle since Edo period.

Japan Folk House Garden, located in Kawasaki suburb area, is an open-air museum of old folk houses that represent Japan. There are 25 valuable museums, including typical old folk houses of eastern Japan, watermills, boatmen's cabins, Takakura, and Kabuki stages. This museum preserves cultural heritage buildings and passes them on to the future.
A variety of events, particularly entertainment performances and hands-on classes, are held throughout the year, allowing you to experience the scenery of not only four seasons but also original Japan.
Inside the park, there are restaurants served soba and dango along with cultural facilities. In such places, you can experience indigo dyeing and spend a relaxing day with a stroll through Ikuta Ryokuchi park.

A Zen temple with a history of about 600 years.
The ceiling of the main hall is decorated with a giant dragon painted in ink. The dragon's powerful brushstrokes are worth seeing, and it is full of vitality.
